A Geometric Landscape of Possibilities
Hexopolis is an analog game that I designed in which players compete with one another to capture their opponent's piece, all while building towers and bridges to aid them in the process. This project is a demonstration of iterative design, in that it started as a prototype that is an entirely different game than the current version. Working on this game also gave me space to experiment with minimalist design, such that simple rules will beget complex outcomes.
Hexopolis successfully raised over 380% of its goal on Kickstarter and now has a global community with hundreds of players in countries including Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Singapore, United Kingdom, and USA to name a few.
